It all started as another day shopping at an upscale department store looking for something new for our little girl, Mackenzie. Though the quality was good, the selection was not. I always knew what I was looking for, I just wasn’t able to find more than one style of it. The result? I had multiples of the same exact bib, burpie, and blanket! So there I was again...with kenzie in my arms and in deep thought, contemplating on whether or not I should buy yet another set of multiples, when I started pushing the wrong stroller! Embarrassed and looking around I noticed something about the parade of strollers around me. Every other mother had the same exact pink circle blanket draped over the same exact pink bugaboo! Epiphany…I was not alone on this selection thing. What to do…what to do? Either I shop somewhere else (not going to happen because I love the department store as a whole, especially their iced vanilla chais downstairs) or I create my own baby stuff. So here you go. A shopping site for the style savvy, fashion conscious, just want to have the freedom to choose baby stuff that suits me as well as my little one’s personality…or personalities!! Our burpies are oversized at 21 X 14, have a thicker ply and an extra insert sewn in. They are made of 100% cotton Chinese prefolds and will quilt up a bit after washing for maximum absorbency.
